Digital Discoveries: Creating with Generative AI

Get hands-on with how artificial intelligence 'sees’ and ‘creates’ and learn how to effectively craft prompts and use artificial intelligence to generate your own creations!
This activity involves the use of an iPad. All equipment is provided.
What is Generative AI?
Generative artificial intelligence (AI) describes algorithms that can create new content, including audio, code, images, text, and videos based on data they were trained on.

Explore using 3D-scanning technology to create digital models and bring them to life with vibrant colours and textures.
This activity involves the use of an iPad and Apple Pencil with version 5.3.7 of the app Procreate. All equipment is provided.
What is 3D Scanning and Painting?
3D scanning is a process of analysing an object from the real world to digitally recreate its shape and appearance. The surface of these digital models can be painted using a digital art software.

Join our ArtScientist-In-Residence Cesar Jung-Harada in exploring what it means to live in harmony with the ocean!
Participants can be inspired by the story of an ocean gardener who saves a coral reef and craft animal and human puppets who could live together in an Ocean City as imagined by Cesar.
